ABOUT ME
Becoming a coach was never in my wildest dreams... But it lights me up inside! I started this journey with myself. I was overweight, out of shape, and sick of looking at myself that way.
I had to change. I started working out with a friend and found Functional Fitness, and I never turned back. It gave me a challenge, it gave me a taste of competition, and it gave me a community of people to lean on! From there, I found that my health needed one more thing... Healthy Nutrition, eating to feel good and look good! BFF stands from Built From Food, because our bodies are built from the food and nutrients we give it. I realized that fitness isn't the only focus for health, our diet matters too! It CHANGED the GAME! Nutrition will change your body, your energy, your digestion, and your WORKOUTS. Fuel right and see big changes!
Needless to say, the combo really changed my life and it made me want to help others do the same. When it seems impossible, all you need is a little help, a little work and someone to believe in you.

Getting dragged into the fitness world probably wasn't first on this guys list, but lo and behold here he is...and crushing it! He is a coach, a friend, mister fix-it, and my husband.
He coaches classes and kicks butt on the competition floor. He is a certified personal trainer with an unofficial certification in dad jokes and button pushing.
In his spare time he golfs as much as possible, races stock cars and works on all the projects I can give him.
